Cheryl Ann Hughes was the first known victim of Janos Skorzeny in Las Vegas. She was identified as a swing-shift Change Girl at the Gold Dust Saloon. She had been waiting for a ride home from work but decided to walk home when she was killed.
Skorzeny disposed of her body in a trash can where it was discovered by a sanitation worker. Her autopsy the next day revealed that there was no blood in her body.
Gail Foster was a friend of Cheryl's and told Carl Kolchak she had been taking karate lessons in case somebody gave her trouble.
